Disposal of old Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
When it comes to disposing of an old Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle, we have organised a network of Treatment Facilities who are capable of effectively treating the vehicle and maximising its recycling potential. This is important, in order to exploit fully the work carried out in the vehicle’s design and construction stages.
All sites are fully legally compliant and operate state of the art recycling equipment, and through their computerised links to the DVLA they will be able to de-register vehicles so that the last owners responsibilities are ended with a unique Certificate of Destruction.

Depending on the age and condition of your Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle, a minimal charge may be imposed to process the vehicle for you. In some circumstances there may be no charge at all.
Acceptance Criteria
- If your vehicle is incomplete, for example missing its wheels, engine, gearbox or if it was fitted with a Catalytic Converter then a minimal charge may be imposed.
- Similarly if your vehicle is carrying added waste or rubbish, a charge may also be imposed.
- Vehicles registered after July 2002 will not be charged unless they do not meet criteria 1 and 2.
- Vehicles older than July 2002 may be charged depending on the prevailing recycled material market values.
All financial arrangements can be agreed in advance between you and the Treatment Facility.
Additional Services, Vehicle Collection.
In order to make it as convenient as possible for you to get your vehicle to a Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Treatment Facility, it is possible to arrange for your vehicle to be picked up and taken away. A minimal charge may be made for this service, again this should be arranged with the Treatment Centre concerned.
